My Poodles

I have 2, and have fallen prey to MPS (Multiple Poodle Syndrome)

Phantom, on the top, is Moonstone's Midnight Phantom, RA, a 2 1/2 year old black and silver "phantom" miniature poodle. He got me hooked, and I "needed" another poodle. I have been competeing in Obedience with him, and he has earned his Rally Novice (RN) and Rally Advanced (RA) titles in 6 straight shows. We are not doing as well on our efforts at getting a Companion Dog (CD) title. We have 1 of 3 legs needed for that, and need to work on our stays. Phantom is a momma's boy, and doesn't like being 40' across the ring from mom.

Thanks to a one time bonus from my employer, my Christmas present to myself last year was Miracle, Kallista's Quite a Miracle, now a six month old silver miniature poodle. She is in the picture on the bottom. I amjust starting out with her, and I need to get busy training. So far we have sit & down fairly well, and are starting to work on the concept of stay.

Two poodles are definately better than one poodle. They keep each other entertained, and compete for attention. Best of all is poodle zoomies, when all of a sudden, the swicth is thrown, and........ they're off! Down the hallway, bank off the sofa, bounce off the loveseat, race down into the bedroom, turn and back again! Anyone in the way better move or be run over, as my 3 year old daughter found out last night. She had moved to sleep in the hallway when mom wasn't looking - got run over!
